AntiquePortrait was founded by Alan Nelson and Christopher Foley in response to the growing World interest in all things genealogical. As major dealers in fine paintings they have successfully run substantial traditional galleries in London for the past 20 years. Selling major works of art internationally to private clients and museums.

Now acknowledging the advances of the Internet and computers, they decided to put their years of knowledge to good use. Spending a vast amount of time acquiring, researching and compiling this superb database of portrait prints.
